Kana ,24heures déjà

Kana 2 fois martyr

The National Agreement

Sunnites, chiites, druzes, alaouites, coptes
maronites, orthodoxes, grecs catholiques, protestants, anglicans, syriaques catholiques, kaldeens, arméniens catholiques, assyriens and others…

All the problems and all the deceptions.

The displaced in a school, under the debris moan the victims.

The Sacrifice

The Israeli planes fly closely over Beirut,

Bomb the Radio Liban antennas in Amchit

Tyr continues to receive the bombs.

Rome’s Conference brought us forward.

The slow creeping solution.

Tyr, the tragedy.

The mourners of the TV stations

25_july
The mourners of the TV stations are fighting for the right to install panic in the hearts and minds.
The world follows the show and gives his agreement:

Full agreement: USA
Similar agreement: United Kingdom
Agreement but: Russia
Agreement with reserve: France
And the Arabs: ya ayni

We are chatting and laughing when a bomb falls very close. The mouth dries and follows a hysterical laughs cascade.

Hearing them you’d think they are all the winners

The Israeli tanks are infiltrating inside Lebanon and Rice is meeting the government.

Ghassan Tueni wrote in his editorial today that his son “Gebran is dead for and maybe because of his oath.”

Condoleeza Rice’s impudent face.

Gebran’s oath:

We swear by the glorious God
Muslims and Christians
To stay united
Until the end of time
To defend the glorious Lebanon

The cease-fire: everybody talks about it but nobody wants to implement it.

The cease-fire: everybody talks about it but nobody wants to implement it.
Move away, Condoleeza Rice is in Beirut.

The hungry kids of the South walk and cry and dream of food while the bombs are falling over their heads.

The cease-fire: everybody talks about it but nobody wants to implement it.

Let the resolution 1559 be doomed

Let the resolution 1559 be doomed
The fire manipulator declared: nobody will get out of the fur.

He then violated earth, sea and sky. He just left us the right to accept to die with no sound.
Are we going to stay mute? Until when?

It’s 5 in the afternoon. The southern suburbs are merciless bombed.

May god be with us.

Amen.

Boom… Boom

To annoy the peace fans, those who are leaving their houses for the first time in the direction of the North. From Marjeyun to Kobeyyat?

I am today unemployed because i am an art critic, and in war times, arts don’t flourish. No sculptures, paintings or installations are exposed.

Aïneta: life stronger than death.

The displaced number 201 is born today at Aïneta Al Arz.

Today also, the funerals of more than 70 victims in Tyr and the army proceeded to burry in common ground their corpses.

Aïneta: life stronger than death.

Where’s my mouth?

Yesterday was the bombing of my neighborhood in Ashrafieh.
Fear contracts my entrails and ties my tongue.

Innocents ready for martyr.

On the 9th day: more than 300 killed and 1000 injured.

For the first time, the Burj Al Barajneh region is bombed.

I remember the fear that used to ransform my saliva in a taste of earth lifted by bombs, the contracting of the entrails, the uncontrollable trembling of the hand…
It was during the war between Aoun and Geagea.

LGhorayeb - 20 july 2006

And the rest of my body?

On the 8th day i am looking to what is left from myself.

It’s said that in the first days of bombing, there was no way to conserve the corpses of the victims then…

In absence of electricity, we are lighting candles to see the bombs explode.

The fire ball entered the entrails.
Where are gone all the parts of these dispersed entrails?

I was a little girl here i am a martyr

I was a little girl; here i am a martyr without prior notice.
My members are dislocated.

The fight planes’ sound, the bombing of different Beirut regions, the explosions that break the nerves, deafen the ears. My ear is still ringing.

The negotiations couldn’t get a cease-fire.

In the upcoming days no shouts neither prayers to survive.
No communications between the people, half a million are already displaced.

On the third day

The july 2006 war. From 12 to…
Everything is bombed: villages, airports, bridges, ports.
We tremble, we pray, we rattle, at the third day of these killings, strikes and terror.
I am afraid of rubbish.
Israel is bombing now the southern suburbs and the hour follows the hour. It is the continuity of the passed hours of violent bombings.
On the 6th day the situation is still the same.
Lebanon is in unbearable war situation
